My bio

I’m an Olympic 5000m finalist with a passion for running distances from 1500m to the half-marathon. I've coached athletes of all levels: from hybrid athletes competing in HYROX,  to first-time marathoners, or I even made athletes represent their countre-y in international competitions.

Your favorite workout ?

I cannot choose between two ones:
First, I love the good old-fashioned 10km tempo workout at a comfortably hard pace. But I also love the following brutal race-specific workout: 6x1000m at 5km pace. I remember running them from 2'37/km to 2'28/km, right before the Olympics.

My bio

I have an hybrid profile: professional running coach and French literature teacher. For now, I train high level middle distance athletes from Belgium, France, Luxembourg and even Portugal. My work is to lead everyone of the athletes I coach to the best of themselves through national and international level in running/Track&Field.

Your favorite workout ?

​As a coach, I would say it depends of the event you are preparing for. Every step of the prep is interesting when I am always looking for the athlete to reach the next step before we go further. But if I had to choose it's a mixed Combo Workout of threshold + VO2 work. For example : 6k at threshold (around HM pace) followed by 6x600 at VO2 (around 5k pace) with 200m jog rest.

My bio

I am Lander, a dedicated 1500m (3'46) runner from Belgium with a Master’s degree in Sport Science. During my studies, I specialised in biomechanics research, with a focus on running economy and supershoes. Now, I bring my passion and expertise to coaching, working with middle- and long-distance runners to help them train smarter and stay injury-free. My goal is simple: to equip runners with the tools to reach their goals confidently and unlock their full potential!

Your favorite workout ?

3 x 4 x 300 @ 1500m tempo. Starting a little slower than 1500 race pace and progressing to somewhat faster in the end. Doing this workout gives me confidence for the upcoming races!!

Our training phylosophy is the one that made our current athletes win medals at the global stage, but adapted to your level. It is volume and threshold (zone 3) focused. However, don't expect a uniquely developed training method by some random running guru. It's simply the training phylosophy that most of the elite (middle-) distance runners apply. Robust and effective.
